Gabriel is officially saying Mama and Papa directly to us. We ask him, who am I and he says Mama and Papa for each of us. He babbles it every morning when he wakes up and is using it to call us when we walk into the room.

He's also calling out for Chelsea, but instead of using her name he barks like a dog when he sees her or when we ask him what sound does a dog make. He finds it very entertaining and so do we!

Gabriel is making the connections to his first words. We officially have heard Papa & Mama, although he only says it when he wants. Other sounds are Ba, Fa, Fo, O and A. He's definitely learned the word No and either shakes his head from side to side when he doesn't want something or points his finger up and waves it to say no.

Some of his more recent accopmplishments are he now knows where his ears, hair, nose, mouth, eyes, bellybutton and feet are located. When asked he points to each body part, but again only when he wants and usually nose and eyes go to his cheek, but he's in the right territory.

He's also learned to climb on more than furniture so needless to say we're watching him very closely. This week he climbed onto his playhouse and tried to jump inside head first.
