This was the first time I took Gabriel out of the house for a long car ride. I was scared out of my mind and so nervous that something would happen. We were stuck in traffic for an hour because the Palmetto was shut down, but thankfully he didn't wake up once. The car ride back was another story, he cried the entire time, but looking back it was not that bad. It's funny how you put things into perspective nearly a year later.
